Travel Insurance – New Product

You asked for it and we’ve provided it! Starting from Dec 2021, Tripathon Travel added a major new online service to our system, the long awaited Travel Insurance.

Users can now book their travel insurance directly from our online system with the ease and comfort of knowing that the support of Tripathon Travel now covers your travel insurance queries.

Here’s a step by step guide for how to use our travel insurance service:

1- After you log in into your account on travel.tripathon.com go to the “Travel Insurance” tab from the tabs on the upper right side part of the page:

2- In the new screen, you need to fill the following information about your request:

The required information is as follows :

a)Destination: the destination that your travelers are going to and want to be insured at.

b)Country Of Residence: the country that the passport holder (insured) is holding the residency of.

c)Travel Start Date: the first day of the trip.

d)Travel End Date: the last day of the trip.

e)Insurance for: you have the option to select Single, Family or Groups. To better understand which one to select, read the below:

For Single Contracts: There can be only one beneficiary (person) entitled as “Insured”.

For Family Contracts: In the case of both parents with child/children, one beneficiary should be entitled as “Insured” and another entitled as “spouse”, and the others entitled as “child”. In the case of one parent with child/children, then one beneficiary should be entitled as “Insured” and all others entitled as “child”.

For Group Contracts: One person should be entitled as “Insured” and all others entitled as “Other Insured”.

f)Notes: read the notes that might be updated from time to time with new information and important news.

3-After filling all the information, click on “Search Button” and available results will be shown. You can click on “View Details” to know more.

Once the option requested is clear, click on the “Select” button next to it. Here you can check the cancellation policy of your selection and review the general information of your booking. Once done, click on “Book Now” to proceed.

4- In the next page you need to fill all traveler(s) information as well as contact information. Next you should read and agree to the cancellation policy and tick the box next to the red text. You can then click on “Continue and Confirm Booking”.

5- In the next page you need to review all the information you’ve entered before confirming your booking.

6- In the page after that, you can voucher and print your insurance voucher.
